Overview

Mathura is where the story of Shri Krishna begins, and most visitors start at the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple complex. From there, the old city leads down to the ghats of the Yamuna, where the evening aarti at Vishram Ghat is one of the most memorable sights in Braj.

A cab makes it easy to cover the main temples and ghats in a single outing, and many visitors combine Mathura with Vrindavan on the same day. We will help you plan the order of stops around darshan timings.
