Overview

Vrindavan is home to thousands of temples, from the crowded lanes around Banke Bihari to the marble halls of Prem Mandir, which glow with changing lights after sunset. It is a short drive from Mathura and fills a day easily.

Many of Vrindavan’s best-known temples sit in narrow lanes, so cars park at set points and you walk or take an e-rickshaw for the last stretch. A local driver helps you move between these points without losing time.
